100 Word Count Challenge!

Hello everyone,

In this blog post I will show you my hundred word count challenge.

The writing must be exactly one hundred words and must include explosion, three dimensional, demanding, detecting and awkward. I also highlight the word that must include so when I add the words its much easier to see. I was so frustrated because I kept going over a hundred. But then when I finished it I was so proud of myself because I thought I wasn't going to finish it.

If you guys have some free time you should do this challenge to because it make your knowledge stronger.

(Thursday) Exhausting day of athletics!

xin chào (Hello) awesome people,

Last Thursday we did athletics. We had few practice of athletics in our school and then it was our final day, because our sport teacher is choosing people who are going to zones. Our first rotation is at shot put for my grade (years six). James came 1st, Brooklyn came 2nd, Sam came 3rd I came 4th. Then our next rotation is at high jump I think Luke, Draved, Sam, and truby were first. Our third rotation is at sprints, I was first in the line and came third at 80 metres. And then we had to ran 60 metres but we ran out of time. Third to last rotation is long jump I forgot what place I was and who was first. After we finished long jump we had a break. Our next rotation is at discuss that was my favourite thing to do at athletics. Rocky came 1st and I came second. And lots of people came 3rd. The last rotation we had to go is at long distant. I forgot we came first and which place I'm was in but I really tried my personal best and I am proud of my self.

Maths weekly problem solving term 4 week 3!

Bula everyone,

In this blog post I will show you what we have been doing in maths. we are learning to:

• Read and interpret a question.
• Use addition and subtraction strategies with decimals
• Recognise combinations of coins and write them in number form
• Quickly add combinations of coins in our head.

Our maths topic is about money. We had to make a new google drawing. Then read the task that we had to do. The task was to answer the following question that our teacher challenged us. The questions were: $4.60, $3.30, $5.70, $6.90 and we had to have three different answer in each of the question. The coins were 10cent, 20cent, 50cent, 1dollar and 2dollar.

It was really fun and difficult at the same time because I had to think three different question in each of the money question.

Term 4 week 3 hot spot doc!

Hello readers,

Today in this blog post I will show you my hot spot writing. We are learning to: write in past progress tense, use powerful action verbs, only include what is powerful, meaningful and important.

Our task was to use the writing prompt "No no, no!" I was sliding back into the dream. And we had to add the strong words like: grasping, tumbling, creaking and sniffling. And then my teacher gave me feedback about my writing. She also gave me my next steps. Then I had to highlight the strengths that I add in my writing.

Here is my writing:
“No, no, no!” I was sliding back into the dream. I was yelling for help as loud as I can but I realise not even a single person can hear me. I was in an uncomfortable stance on my bed and was grasping on the bars of the bed. 

I was in a dark place dominated sun, I look around me and no one was there. “Bang” I heard a noise, I was shivering of fears and made my heart beat faster than a rocket ship blasting off. My teeth were creaking as loud as an elephant snorkeling. 

Suddenly It was cold I feel that I was about to freeze. “Achoo” I sneezed. I was sniffling my nose with my shirt.“Ahhhhhhhhhh” I freaked out. There was a humongous frightening creature with black and red colours jump in front of me. I punch the humongous frightening creature straight at its face and it was tumbling down the mountain. As it was tumbling down the mountain it started to disappear with happiness. And I woke up and told my parents that  my dream was vivid.
