Creature (Activity twelve) Pt. 4

Hi everyone,

This is the next day of the winter learning journey challenge activity. I have another exciting activity that I will show you guys from the winter learning journey.

I was so interested doing  this activity because is another animal activity, and I like animals. It looks very fun and difficult at the same time.

The activity is to make an alphabetic list of all the creatures I can think of. And find creatures from all of the letters in the alphabet.

Creatures (Activity six) Pt.3

Hi everyone,

Welcome back again for another activity for winter learning journey, you guys might be confused about my title. I picked activity six but this is part three. 

I was really excited to do this activity maybe this is my favourite activity to do. I was really giggling when I saw lots of these these pictures. 

So the challenge was Create a new animal by merging two animals together. if you don't know what does merging means, it means combining things together to form something in a really good combination but sometimes ugly. 

My answer was a cheetah and merging a kangaroo together because a cheetah is extremely speedy and a kangaroo can jump and it can fight and defence its self. It really looks cool when I show you the picture.

Creatures (Activity two) Pt.2

Hello readers,

I will do another activity for winter learning journey part two, and I really want this to be quality. 

So for my activity was would you rather have fur as soft as a chinchilla or quills spikes like a porcupine. And I have to explain my answer why and add pictures of those animals. 

My answer is to be a chinchilla because chinchilla are really soft so people would be happy if they get it as a pet. And really friendly adorable, energetic and playful. Also they are good for children's. 

I also want to have a chinchilla as a pet because they are not spiky as the porcupines. 

I really don't like how the porcupine look and I can't get bother to pet them because they are really spiky.

Creatures (Activity one) Pt.1

Hi guys,

At school we have a challenge to do for our holiday for two weeks so our learning keeps going up not down.  And if we get bored in the holidays, and don't know what to do we could just do this challenge.

The activity is called creatures and is for winter learning journey.

And who ever gets the most points for completing their activity gets to win a mystery prize. So I really want to win and create more quality blog post.

So the challenge that I picked was choose any animal in the whole world and it can be a mythical creature. And had to tell why we choose that animal, and adding an illustration.

Anyways my favourite animal is a horse because. They are easy to look after, they are very fun to play with, playful, also they are enthusiastic and you can ride them. My illustration Marguerite Henry, and the story is Treasury of horses.


Did you know that horse have 205 bones almost as the same us humans!!!

Weekly Word FRAGRANCE!!!

Reading (Arguments Project About Mars)!

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to my blog, Today in this blog post I will show you my task that we have done in reading with a partner.

We were learning to think of an opinion and turn it into an arguments if we agree with it or disagree.

Also we are learning to...

• ask question before, during, and after. 
• I synthesise new information from the text. This means matching information in the text to my own ideas to make my ideas stronger and more solid. 
• Find and explain cause and effect relationships.

So we have created a I movie with my partner in a computer about our arguments. We video about our opinions in mars and facts about mars that we did. We also edit the video and cut some of the parts. Me and my partner had a different opinions about mars.

My opinion was I disagree with my partner because people would float out the surface and float out to space.

The fun part was when we had bloopers at the end of the video.

(CHALLENGE) With google drawing!!!

Hi guys, 

At school we had to do a challenge with using google drawing because of the Matariki new years. If you don't know what is Matariki it is the Maori new years it is the seven stars and they have names. There names are Ururangi, Tapu a rangi, Waipunarangi, Matariki, Tapu a nuku, Waita and Waiti . 

So are challenged was to create a google drawing and put seven stars for the background and write about the things I should do better at home and at school. I also put a amazing background.
