My covid-19 Reflection!

Konichiwa bloggers,

Welcome back to my blog. In this blog post, I will share you my reflection about Covid 19.

So I was scrolling down to the projects/choices that we can do at home suddenly a Covid 19 title got my attention. I picked this activity because of how the coronavirus is affecting the whole world. My task was to make a copy of the slide and put it in my wga folder. And then write the things that are out of my control, things that I can control and how can I keep my family and myself protected.

I felt really proud of myself when I finished the activity because I think I can help people by them doing these things to protect them from coronavirus.

Her is my work:

Please leave a comment if this activity helped you!

Question of the day: What things would you do to keep ourself protected from coronavirus?

Philippines cultures and society through arts.

Hi bloggers,

This is day 3 of shutdown in my country, and I would like to share another work that I have done. And this time it's a presentation.

My task was to create a presentation of the art culture in the Philippines. What I did first was to add a title for my slide and then researching what was the traditional arts in the Philippines. And then I inserted pictures of the artwork from the Philippines in my slide. And then add each of the pictures and then research some facts about the artwork. And my last step was to add it on my blog.

Here is my presentation:

My favourite culture art in the Philippines is the Weaving Bayong.

Warning: Please keep washing your hands and be healthy according to the coronavirus!

Please leave a comment on my blog if you enjoy it.

Deadliest animals in the world!

G, day readers,

Welcome back to my blog. In this blog post, I will show you my presentation of the top 10 deadliest animals.

So this is the 2 day of lockdown and I chose another task to do. So my task was to choose any theme I want and then make a list of 10 and rank them from 10 to 1. And then w had some example then I got inspired by the dangerous snakes. We can choose anyhow to present it. My presentation is on a google doc.

This task was okay because I learnt some new facts and deadliest animals. But it was very hard to research them, so I put all my knowledge to gain ideas to search. But then I felt very awesome when I finished the task.

Here is my work:
Deadliest animal

  1. Tsetse Fly (Tsetse fly are very dangerous because it can cost diseases to humans and humans can get sleeping sickness). The tsetse fly is active during the hottest part of the day.

10. Hippopotamus (They kill humans by eating them with their very sharp teeth or flatting humans with their heavy bodies). An adult hippopotamus needs to resurface every 3 – 5mins to breathe.

9. Mosquito (They cause diseases to humans by bacterias and viruses). The mosquito has killed over one million deaths.

8. Cape buffalo (It’s very smart with its movement waiting for the perfect moment to tear apart its opponents with its humungous horns).

7. Cone snails (They are very powerful enough to kill humans by using their venom harpoon called toxoglossan radula). They like prey such as marine worms, small fish, molluscs and even other cone snails.

6. Golden Poison Frog (It affects humans heart which leads them to heart failure or fibrillation). Golden Poison frog is the most toxic animals on earth, a single specimen measuring two inches has enough venom to kill a grown man.

5. Box jellyfish (Deadliest toxin in the world, which contain humans attacking heart, nervous system and skin cells). Box jellyfish lives in Northern Australia and sometimes come close to its ocean shore.

4. Pufferfish (Puperfish is deadly because of toxin because of their bacteria from the animals they eat) their toxins called tetrodotoxin, a substance make them taste them bad.

3. Black mamba (Black mamba kills human with their deadly venom, they instantly kill people when 45 minutes or less is passed). Black mambas are also the fastest snakes in the world, slithering with a speed of 12.5 miles per hour.

2. Saltwater crocodile (Saltwater crocodile are also dangerous because they kill people by getting infected of their teeth). Saltwater crocodiles are the largest crocodile species in the world and the largest reptile in the world.

1. Tsetse Fly (Tsetse fly are very dangerous because it can cost diseases to humans and humans can get sleeping sickness). The tsetse fly is active during the hottest part of the day.

Please leave a comment if you want to share anything to have feedback on my work.

Writing a book review!

Hi bloggers,

Welcome back to my blog. In this blog post, I will show you what we have been doing since the coronavirus going over the world. Our school have been shut down for 2 weeks because tomorrow we are at level 4. So that means we still have to study at home.

So I picked this activity because it looked interesting. So my task was to answer all the following questions from the challenge. It needs to be very quality and detailed and also to extend my sentence

This activity was really fun to do and very challenging because of how i extend my answer.

Here is my work:
The title and the author of your book? I would choose the book name Dragon Knight Barbarians version. And the Author is Kyle Mewburn.

Why you selected the novel. I selected this novel because you learn new words from the book and it’s not a thick page when the words are super small. The characters are funny because of how they act. And it also has a different version of the book. And its a picture book with amazing drawing/ details on it. I choose this book cause sometimes the protagonist characters did something wrong and something right. And the book is very interesting because they tell how they feel in the house and what interesting things do the characters have. Last of all the book has its own map.

What did you think about it overall? Overall this book is super amazing and unbelievable. Because of the details they put in this book. Very enthusiastic funny and disgusting. When I say disgusting is because they put amazing descriptive words.

What was your favourite part? My favourite part was when Breena and Merek were hanging on a rope because they fell for the trap and then when Merek dragon came and save him from falling and almost getting killed by the barbarians. And when the dragon blew fire out of his mouth and wipe out all the disgusting barbarians.

Who were the characters? The characters were Lord Crumble, Master Percy Crumble(Lord Crumble’s spoilt son), Merek(Shapeshifting Dragon boy, Breena and Brin, Barbarian chiefs, Sir Bragalot (The most famous knight in the land).
Would you recommend this book and who do you think would enjoy it? I strongly recommend this book for year 6 students. I think they would enjoy it because of the funny scenes, descriptive words and beautiful details. And they would also enjoy this because of how each character acts.
