EOTC week

Hi,
Welcome back to my blog on Thursday we did are EOTC week. It means education outside the classroom. Are EOTC week is on quail island. And we ride on a bus. After we arrive there. We waited for a long time to wait for our ferry. As we arrive at quail island when the ferry stop there was big wave it feels like a tsunami. We had to find are place to eat. Then we ate are morning tea. After we ate are morning tea. We went to explore, as we explore Whea Heather one of the room three teacher tell facts about quail island. It was so hard to climb up it is so steep I was so tired of walking. I felt like my muscle were trying to stretch out. I can only remember one fact about quail island that there was a Taniwha it protects the island. We also explore the ship wrecked and the man who died. There was a story of him. It was worster than cancer that your arm can be rotten and fall off. He was 21 years old when he died. Then we went to are picnic table again and ate are lunch. We played some games like rugby, football and Frisbee we can also go to the beach and swim only are leg. After all the fun we had we go back to the ferry and go back to school.

Remember that I picked Canada in my first summer learning journey. And we have to pick are favourite landmarks from are country. Also Mrs Morgan already created the doc so it make it more easier.The CN tower is the 9th tallest building ever in the world and it is 553.3 metres high. And the CN tower is located to Toronto and Ontario Canada it is only the place where you can see it.

The Niagara falls is more than three times the height of the Angels falls it is 3,505 metres tall. The Niagara Falls on the border between the United States of America and Canada.

Hi guys, 
I will tell you something special that happened on last Sunday in the weekend. I just did my first communion. First communion means that when there is a mass you can eat the Sacramental bread it is the bread and you can drink the Sacramental wine. After we finished the Sacrament we ate some food there were delicious food like cakes and the was some filliping food too. And also had to take photo of are self. We also had are own certificate for finishing the sacrament.

We are still doing are summer learning journey practice. This time we have to watch the TV series  of are country, obviously in my previous blog I picked Canada. 

The name of the television show of Canada is Cailou it is for it is for little children. I liked about the show is that it speak English, what I don't like about the show is that it is only for little children. I will rate the show *** out of 5 stars because it is for little children but when you have a sibling it is helpful for them to watch. I'm glad that it is English so I can understand it. Design and re-create a food package that will reduce waste.

Hi,

Today in topic we have been doing technology. Are problem was many companies make food packaging out of plastic. All the plastic is ending up in our environment. I  have been design a chip packet that is recyclable  and how are we going to make it. And we have to have a plan. We also put labels on it and some materials that we are going to use to solve the problem.  Here is my process I'am still working on this.

Today in school we have been learning about Armistice day. We red 3 text and we have to write down 3 facts that stood out for us. I am going to tell you three facts that i learned in the text. First fact, Armistice day means the treaty it means you have to sign on a piece of paper to stop the war. Second fact,The war ended at the eleventh hours at the eleventh day of the eleventh months 1918. Last fact, And They were 98,950 were served 18,058 were dead and 41,000 were injured

what I did in my weekend

Ola everyone,

Welcome back to my blog today I'am going to tell you what I did in my long weekend. First I played with my friend Lennox, Patrick and Patrick cousin. We were getting resources so if somebody shoot at us we can build and we get weapons. Then we get on a golf cart that is four seater  and we drove from a house and we dig under then we camp in there. After that we got a victory royale. Lenoox, got five kills, patrick got four, and his cousin got two and myself I got one kill.

One more story

Me and my family went to a Christmas party. We played some fun games that we have to dress up ass a girl with an umbrella and run around. We also went to the park and played basketball. Also we did some exchanging gifts. And we did a scavenger hunt we had to find the socks. I have lots of treats in my socks and in my exchange gift I had a quality beautiful t shirt and short.

What does capacity and volume means

In school we have learning about what does capacity and volume means. My teacher insert a link and we have to watch it. And explain it how it works. So first lets talk about Capacity. Capacity is a amount of space that a container for holding liquid and when you put more liquid and stuff it takes more space. Now lets talk about volume. Volume is the amount of space the liquid takes when you put more volume onto the liquid the liquid rise up.

Welcome back to my blog I will talk about what i did in the holidays. Me, my brother, my mum, my friend, my friend mum went to Hagely park we explored everything and walk around. I saw this guy trew a Frisbee it went so far away. Anyways we played basketball me my friend vs my brother. After we played basketball we played a game it's called the golden egg it's basically 1 person will run on the square then when the other shoot they have to stop then the other player which is the golden egg they have to run then tag the other player then goto the finish line.

Another story

I played Fortnite with Patrick my friend we played playground 1 v 1 courses my friend one He really beat me like a pro. So I played with my friend Lennox he teached me how to build 1 by 1 and 2 by 2 in Fortnite. First we went to get some it need to be max after we raced to the top of the sky. Suddenly Lennox trol me he trow me a grenade that you can fall but not dying. So I fell down I have to build up again. Ovious he won the race. This time we went to build the 2 by 2 where you can peek both side but this time we didn't have a race because I need to improve my building.

3 body systems

Welcome back to my blog in school we have been learning three body systems. They are called endocrine system, circulatory system and skeletal system. We have to write four sentences that we learned in each body system. Here are some facts about them. The endocrine system has six organs. The circulatory system has three different types of bloods and they are called platelets, white blood cells and red blood cells. I learned that are bones are strong as thick as concrete in the skeletal system. I will show you what we have done.

Circulatory system

Hi guys, 
In our topic we have been learning about the Circulatory system. We did a experiment. We drank half of the water in the water bottle and we add two tea spoon of sugar, one tea spoon of salt, we add cherious with food colouring, marshmallow and a beef jerky. We cut the marshmallow into pieces and all so the beef jerky. The cherious was for the red blood cells it storage the blood and carry it around, The marshmallow was for the white blood cells it fight germs and eat them and the beef jerky was for the platelets, is when you have wound and it heals it. Here is the picture of the experiment.

This book was dedicated to the valiant airmen who took the skies in service of their country, and specially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The Author who wrote this book is Brain Falker. My Amazing Body

Hi guys, 
Are W.A.L.T is to explain what different body systems are and how they work.

We have been learning about 4 different bodies and they are Digestive system, Nervous system, Muscular system and respiratory system. We have to wrote 4 things that we learnt  in each body system. For example the Digestive system is to get nutrients out of your body, the cerebellum will control your body and lean new things, the muscular system helps your bone moves your body and, when you breathe in you will get oxygen and when you blow out you breathe out carbon dioxide.

Paragraph writing

On are school we had been talking about paragraphs in our writing. When you have paragraphs it is much easier to read but when you don't it will make it harder to read. So we choose a topic sentences and write about it. We have to explain details about are writing and making a example or an information about that writing. We have to make are writing more stronger so it make senses. Here is the work that I made.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               A very unusual face suddenly appeared in the window. He face look like scary. its doesn’t have eyes mouth nose and ears its face was just blank with white. When I turn around and look at the window he gets closer and closer to the window. When He gets closer my hands started to shake and my eyes began to have tears. When I looked at the window again he vanished then when I turned around it was behind me. Suddenly I get a small mirror and placed it to his face then crack the mirror.

My character writing

Hello guys,
In are school are writing for this week was creating a introduction, paragraphs and conclusion. First we talk about are habitat next one is what do they look like, what do they wear, how tall they are and what weapons they have. We need to wrote down a strong sentences about conclusion for example overall my character has a powerful strength with invisibility and to ran fast.  On are intro we don't have to write plenty of detains we just need to write who they and where they belong. I will show you what iv'e done on my writing.

Intro:  Mamons belongs to a species of magical trees, mythical creatures that live on invisible floating clouds.  

My incredible habitat has a white invisible cloud floating in the sky with talking flowers, trees that blew leaves around the sky, flying animals with wings and a blowing fire dragon. And also floating horizontal road line that is color blue.  

My character  has a nose that look likes a tiger, three Big eyes like a binocular, two long ears so he knows what are they hearing and what is going on, red lip, tiny sharp gold teeth so they can eat stuff when its uncook, curve eyebrow and short hair. He wears a white silver t-shirt  with armour inside it and helmet with horn and silver pants with armour also. He has green skin colour with blue veins and orange stripe like a zebra on the arm.

My character is six foot tall with big body and  full of enormous muscle. It’s abilities is to run fast and turn to invisible so they can’t see my character. My character weapons are a spear that is pointy on the front and a unbreakable shield that comes back to you when to throw it like a boomerang.

Overall my character has a powerful strength with invisibility and to ran fast. Would you like to meet my character one day?

My Hotspot doc

Hi today,
In the last few weeks we did some writing in our hot spot doc in our school. So here i'm going to show you what I have been writing in my Hotspot doc. 

The rain slap the window with sharp splattering sound. Spat , spat spat on the slimy skinny stinky glass. Spat, spat, spat against the gigantic window. Spat, spat, spat the lonely manor tucked into the wooded hillside.

My breath made a Massive puffs with white vapour in the dim attic. The vapour puffs curled like dancing genies in the dim light from the rain streaked window. I shivered and tucked my knees against my chest, then curled into a clumsy ball on the rickety makeshifter bed-the sole piece of furniture in that dreadful attic.

I was starving.

'The three little pig's wondering'

Hi today,

Im going to show you what we have been doing last week from our school. We have to write things that we thought after reading the story. And we need to make it in our own words.


I wonder if the a third little pig will die for killing the wolf to death. I wonder if the third little pig will eat all the food that he get. Maybe if the wolf's grandma will stay alive she will eat the third little pig and blow his house. Maybe when the third little pig ate the wolf his brother,sister, mum and dad will burn the third little pig's house and eat him for their grandma. I when the  wolf eat the first and the second little pig maybe when the third little pig boiled him with hot water they where still alive in his tummy. I wonder when the wolf try to eat the first and second little pig they will run to the third little pig's house so their safe. 

What is a fraction

Good day,
From last Friday we've been learning about fraction and what is fraction. Fraction is any part of a group and a number or a whole. The Numerator is how many you need to colour in or shade and the Denominator is how many pieces you have to cut. I will show you it.

In the past few week in our reading we've been talking about what is Protagonist and the antagonist means. Protagonist means the good guy and the antagonist is the Villain or the bad guy. I will show you the 1 things that I've done. In the fake story of the three little pig the third little pig is the protagonist. But in the real story the wolf was the Protagonist because he was just asking for a cup of sugar to make a cake for her granny.

Holidays

Hi guy's
Today I will show you what did we did in the past few week. Our focus is to add sences of places, adding more interesting words and adjective's.

In the mid afternoon when we arrive in Selwyn swimming pool my heart was pumping like excitement. I heard people laughing and screaming like crazy. It sound like lots of people crowded and going on roller coaster.

I hop in the pool then Suddenly I found a coin lying on the ground so me and my brother play hide the coin. Then we explained the rules how to play. I hid the coin right in the corner of the pool. Then he  race down with his transparent goggle and dive into the water. There was splashing everywhere. Then he started to find the coin. But I saw the new event of riding boats. So I told to my brother and go there but there was only one more boat left. So my brother went back to the water and continuing as I ride on the boat. Then a kid told to have a race. We started on the line after we get on the line the lifeguard blew its whistle then we stear fast as we can he was catching up, just a second he beat me. It was my time to hop out on the boat then I saw my brother just relaxing on the pool. My brother wanted to play tag on the pool so we did it. After playing tag I told to my brother to have a contest who can swim fast and who can hold their breath longer. But then I feel starving so I come out to the pool then I ate donut’s so then my brother followed me. It was great to go there so we drove home.

My scavenger hunt measurement

Hi guys,

This week we have been learning measurement in our maths. We just started on Thursday,

First you need to go to the Ako Ngatahi site and find it there then share it to your partner that you choose. First task we get a ruler and we need to find 6 things that is 1 centimetre in our classroom. Suddenly we found this button and try to measure it there it was we found one and take a picture of it in our Chromebook. We struggle to find another one but luckily my partner found one it shaped like a cilendar we measure it again and take a picture. But it was too late it was pick up time.

I wish that we have more time so we can complete are mission and to learn more measurements.

Fantasy planning

Hi guys! my name is Shadrach.
I've been doing my fantasy plan in my school for this week  i'm creating a invisible cloud floating with crazy creepy flowers and tree. The flowers were talking, tree blowing leaves, flying animals with wings, blowing fire dragon, floating road line, fresh water and a floating boat. Also its similar to are topic. And we wrote about the reason for it. Next week if week if we do shelter I will create a defensive transparent wall.

Digital Ignition

Hi guys,

In our school every Tuesday year 5's,4 and 6  do Digital Ignition. There was a women teaching us her name was Lyn she teaches us some cool things in our first session which are the year five we make paper air plane with these big paper. She set a time for five minutes then we are a thing called simple instruction step by step. Then is are second session we did some binary search its like the internet when you search something like a maths question it does that. In our second last session we did scratch coding about the story of Maui. In our last session which was sad lyn showed us pollution the best one was a turtle his shell was weak and they have to make it with a 3D printer to protect. We create a poster of pollution on Lyn's tablet with Jr. scratch and the sad part was saying good bye to Lyn and it was year 6's turn.
